Pay Attention - Experiencing Life
Thatīs one of the core lessions I have learnt in India - "Experiencing".
Experiencing life completely.
Also before I was in India, I have heard this sentence several
times, but had difficulties to understand itīs real meaning.
Nobody was able to explain it to me.
What is meant by that?
Be conscious. To see, what is there.
Accept it. Not to try to change something. Just BE. Watch thoughts.
Under the heat of attention transformation can happen. In the end
there is joy or peace. |

Here is an example:
I am on the phone with my friend and tell her something. Suddenly
she starts to argue and throw accusations upon me. She tells me,
how I was, what I always did and why I should change myself.
Not experiencing would be: Discussing, arguing. To judge
her. To try to change her. To apologize or explain. To hang up. To
cut her off by fizzling out the friendship or drawing a line like:
"I really do not need something like that! You canīt always
project your own problems on me!"
Thatīs "Managing the Pain". Escaping. We organize the pain away,
so that it does not hurt so much. We do not want to look at it.
Experiencing is: To be present in the
situation. What do I feel right now? Which personality is at the
surface? How old am I, listening to that? What need is not met?
What do I think about me? Can I feel something in my body? If I
feel something, can I feel it completely? Dive in, not escape.
What happens within me, hearing that? Look at it and feel it.
If there is a charge, I can ask the
Divine Presence to delete the charge.
How
can I do that?
